Mike or Susi Jacobi will greet you
with a friendly "Guten Tag" or "Hello" when you arrive
at our family-operated restaurant. Mike was born and raised in Germany,
living in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Munich. Susi is originally from
Malaysia, and spent many years in Kuala Lumpur, where she was a hostess
in several three-star hotels. (Once you get to know them, they might even
share their secret about how they met.)
Our son Ralph is an important part of our family and he is now studying at
the University of Florida to become an Electrical Engineer.
Mike gained his first restaurant experience as a teenager, helping his
mother run a bed-and-breakfast in Munich. Later, they ran a wine restaurant
in Garmich-Partenkirchen, serving over one hundred different German wines.
This mixture of German and Asian hospitality makes your dining experience
at the Schnitzelhaus unforgettable. German folk songs play nonstop, and Mike
frequently engages patrons in discussions about anything from the wonderful
Tampa weather to German customs and current political events in Europe.
He may even offer special travel tips for your next visit to the Old Country!
Most of all, Mike,Susi & Ralph want you to have such an enjoyable
time that you can't wait to come back.
Viel Spaß! (Have Fun!)
